Northbound AS aims to protect and respect privacy in accordance with the EU Privacy Statement (2016/679) of 27th April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) enforced from 25th May 2018. Collecting, Storing, and Use of Personal Information

This website is hosted on the Squarespace platform. Squarespace.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Squarespace’s data storage, databases, and the general Squarespace applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Our booking system is Bilberry, and the payment gateway we use is Stripe. Both are online platforms that help us collect and store your data.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, telephone number, address, email address, and body/clothing size. Your personal information will be used for specific reasons: processing your bookings and payments, internal booking statistics, as well as bookkeeping, contacting you regarding purchased products, providing you technical clothing for tours, sending pictures from tours, providing ongoing customer assistance, etc.

We receive, collect, and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details, comments, feedback.

Once you make a booking or contact us by email on the contact form, we may use your personal information to contact you regarding your questions, inquiries, and bookings. We may contact you to troubleshoot problems with your booking, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or money owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, online messengers, and postal mail.

Sharing of Personal Information

We can pass your personal information (from your bookings) to our partners (activity providers/booking agents) in case of booking transfer, that is previously agreed upon with the customer. We store the collected personal information as long as we may need it, and when it is no longer necessary, we will delete it safely.
